Pool and Beach Attendant

Position Overview

You will serve as a key team member facilitating recreation activities at the property, providing guests with information about facilities such as pools, the beach, entertainment zones, fitness centers, and children’s activity areas. Your role includes encouraging guest participation in recreational programs, registering and scheduling activities, and creating an enjoyable and relaxing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce safety regulations and proper conduct within recreational facilities to ensure guest welfare.
• Monitor facilities to promptly address emergencies according to established procedures.
• Operate cashier functions for point of sale transactions related to recreational services.
• Support and assist in organizing group activities and private events within recreation venues.
• Assess guests’ safety readiness to engage in recreational activities and communicate concerns to supervisory staff.
• Provide immediate aid to injured guests until professional medical help arrives.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of recreation areas, including equipment and supplies.
• Report accidents, unsafe conditions, and complete mandated safety training.
• Adhere to company policies including maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality.
• Welcome and engage guests in a courteous manner, responding to service needs and assisting those with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, including telephone etiquette.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.
• Perform various physical tasks and handle equipment safely, adhering to ergonomic requirements.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Certification or training related to recreation equipment as mandated by local authorities.
• No previous experience or supervisory background required.
