Job description
Job Overview
This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at Courtyard by Marriott, located specifically in the Olaya Street area, Al Murooj District, Northern Ring Road. It is a full-time, non-management role within the Human Resources Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain organized filing systems for HR documentation.
- Prepare and type official office correspondence using computer systems.
- Distribute and dispatch correspondence appropriately.
- Order and monitor supplies and HR-related forms.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and accurately record messages.
- Create personnel files for newly hired employees.
- Assist incoming candidates with application procedures.
- Maintain a designated workspace for application completion, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and accessible to people with disabilities.
- Address inquiries, requests, and concerns from employees and management related to company policies, programs, and HR guidelines.
- Report employee relations matters within the division or hotel to HR management.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of hotel and employee records and information.
- Maintain all employee records and files professionally, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain professional personal appearance and confidentiality, and protect company assets.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management promptly.
- Greet all guests following company standards, communicate clearly and professionally, and handle written and telephone communications appropriately.
- Build and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team objectives, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Ensure that quality expectations and standards are met consistently.
- Utilize computer systems and point-of-sale technology to enter and retrieve job-related information.
- Safely move, lift, transport, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Related Work Experience: Minimum of one year in a related role.
- Supervisory Experience: Not required.
- Licenses or Certifications: None required.
