About the Role

Join our dynamic and diverse team at Courtyard by Marriott in Berlin as a Stewarding Mitarbeiter. This position focuses on maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen to ensure seamless operations behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

• Properly cleaning and caring for kitchen utensils including dishes, cutlery, and cooking tools.
• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness across all kitchen areas, equipment, and storage spaces following HACCP standards.
• Managing waste disposal by sorting and disposing of garbage responsibly, promoting environmentally friendly kitchen practices.
• Supporting the kitchen team by replenishing cleaning supplies, dishes, and utensils to ensure constant availability.
• Collaborating closely with chefs and service staff to facilitate smooth kitchen operations.

Candidate Profile

• Meticulous and dependable in work habits.
• Enjoy working within a team and able to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
• Prior experience in gastronomy or stewarding is a plus, but beginners are welcome to apply.
• Basic proficiency in German is required; knowledge of English is advantageous.
• A strong sense of hygiene and organizational skills comes naturally.
