Job Overview
This role supports the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including recruitment, compensation, and employee training initiatives. The Assistant Manager helps deliver HR services that fulfill employee needs and support business objectives, while ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Candidate Profile
- Either a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of two years experience in HR, management operations, or a related professional field, OR
- A two-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, with no prior experience required.
Core Responsibilities
- Supports recruitment efforts by assisting in interviewing and hiring qualified HR team members.
- Helps establish and maintain connections with external recruitment channels.
- Participates in job fairs and documents outreach activities following HR standard operating procedures.
- Networks with local industry organizations to source candidates for current and future vacancies.
- Monitors and performs quality assurance on candidate selection processes.
- Collaborates with unemployment service providers to manage claims, verify report accuracy, and attend hearings as needed.
- Assists with new employee orientation and training to ensure comprehensive onboarding and cross-training for operational success.
- Maintains effective communication with employees through consistent updates and organizing property-wide meetings.
- Reviews disciplinary documentation for accuracy and consistency, promoting timely resolution of employee concerns through appropriate channels.
- Supports compliance by ensuring employee files are properly maintained, confidentiality is upheld, and safety/security policies are effectively communicated.
- Assists with managing workers' compensation claims and claims review processes to facilitate proper employee care and cost management.

This position is based in the Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia. It is a full-time, onsite management role within Sheraton Hotels & Resorts.
