Job Overview

The HR Information System Manager is responsible for maintaining the precision, reliability, and effective management of the company’s HRIS. This role entails leading activities related to data cleansing, input, and system upkeep, overseeing user permissions and reporting. The position ensures trustworthy and secure HR data to support functions such as compensation, benefits, workforce planning, and organizational HR decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly audit and verify employee records within the HRIS to detect duplicates, inconsistencies, or obsolete information and coordinate prompt corrections.
• Establish and enforce rules for data quality, validation, and routine cleansing cycles to sustain a dependable, singular source of HR data.
• Accurately manage employee master data including personal details, job changes, and compensation information within agreed timelines, aligning with organizational policies and legal requirements.
• Configure and maintain HRIS components, workflows, and user access rights to ensure system security, stability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and external vendors to resolve issues, manage system updates, and support integrations with payroll, benefits, and hiring systems.
• Generate and present precise HR reports and dashboards focusing on metrics like headcount, turnover, and compensation to assist HR leadership and the Rewards Director.
• Automate and design both routine and custom HR reports using HRIS tools to enhance decision-making and reduce manual tasks.
• Safeguard employee data according to data protection laws and internal confidentiality policies by managing data storage, processing, and user access controls.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements and automation for HR data workflows to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Offer frontline support, training, and guidance on HRIS capabilities, data standards, and self-service features to HR colleagues and end-users.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by management to support departmental goals and objectives.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, quality, and environmental management standards to ensure workplace safety, legal compliance, and high-quality service delivery.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five years’ experience managing HRIS or HR data administration.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Capability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
• Strong sense of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee information.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, and Workday.
• Advanced skills in Excel and HR data analytics.
• In-depth knowledge of data privacy and governance regulations related to HR data.
• Ability to convert HR data into meaningful insights and reports.
• Experience with Zoho software.
