HSE Manager

About the Role

This opportunity seeks an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional with strong expertise in systems and auditing to join the team in Doha, Qatar. The primary responsibility is developing and managing a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System aligned with Qatar's laws and international standards such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain HSE policies and procedures to ensure safe management of construction sites.
• Execute all HSE duties consistent with the company’s safety management system and regulatory codes.
• Design and deliver training sessions and technical presentations for employees and clients.
• Conduct continuous safety inspections on site, documenting findings through daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Train personnel on HSE standards and best practices.
• Perform risk assessments, including job hazard and job safety analyses.
• Investigate and report accidents and incidents comprehensively.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• NEBOSH certification (Diploma or International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety).
• At least 15 years of relevant construction HSE experience.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the Middle East region.
• Essential experience in Construction Consultancy roles.
• Proficient auditor with detailed knowledge of ISO 18001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001, preferably with certification from an International Accreditation Body.
• Proven track record performing core HSE duties as outlined above.
