About the Role
Join NHS Ayrshire & Arran as a HR Systems Analyst within the People & Culture Directorate based in Waverley, Taranaki, New Zealand. This role involves working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday in a hybrid format and reports directly to the Head of HR Systems. The position centers on supporting the ongoing enhancement, implementation, and management of HR Management Information Systems (HRMIS) to aid digital transformation, improve data quality, and enhance reporting capabilities for over 27,000 staff members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and continuous improvement of HR systems and reporting solutions.
- Support the rollout and transition process to the new national HR system.
- Create workforce reports, dashboards, and business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights.
- Oversee workforce data governance, validation, and quality control processes.
- Offer expert technical and analytical assistance to HR, workforce, and operational teams.
- Manage data migration and reporting activities linked to national system upgrades.
- Contribute to the creation and adoption of new digital processes and solutions that boost operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Provide technical guidance to HR Systems Support and Training Officers.
- Collaborate with local and national stakeholders ensuring systems fulfill business and reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Substantial experience in developing, implementing, and supporting business systems, preferably within HR, personnel management, or CRM fields.
- Strong analytical capabilities including expertise in handling complex datasets and proficiency in SQL querying.
- Proven experience in delivering system enhancements and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent, customer-centric systems support and nurture productive stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver consistently high-quality outcomes.
