Role Overview

The Data Insights Analyst will play a crucial role in gathering, managing, and interpreting business-related data to empower teams with actionable insights for better decision-making and identifying opportunities for improvement. The position centers on transforming both structured and unstructured datasets into intuitive reports, dashboards, and recommendations that enhance business outcomes and operational goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect data from various internal systems, spreadsheets, and approved sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Organize data into coherent, structured formats and conduct fundamental analyses to detect trends, patterns, relationships, and potential issues.
• Prepare regular and on-demand reports, visual dashboards, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Track key performance indicators, analyze business results across different timeframes, highlight performance changes, and clearly communicate findings.
• Collaborate with teams to understand reporting needs and translate business inquiries into practical analytical solutions.
• Support data validation, automate reporting processes, maintain dashboards, and work on enhancing existing reporting methods.
• Document analytical workflows, maintain reporting files, verify data consistency, support initiatives for data quality, and aid standardization of reporting procedures.
• Handle large datasets efficiently and utilize analytical tools for effective data interpretation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
• Good grasp of basic data analytic techniques and logical analytical thinking.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, functions, pivot tables, sorting, filtering, and simple data validation.
• Basic familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• Introductory knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of analytical programming languages such as Python or R is beneficial.
• Ability to recognize trends, anomalies, and correlations within datasets.
• Attention to detail while reviewing and organizing data.
• Competence in creating clear, understandable reports, dashboards, charts, and summaries.
