Job Overview
The HR Specialist will develop and oversee the Human Resource Management system to maximize efficient use of human capital within the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all Human Resource operations ensuring assigned tasks are completed timely.
- Manage HR team activities and ensure proper execution and completion of their responsibilities.
- Coordinate with authorized recruitment agencies and vendors associated with HR functions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies during induction and placement of new employees.
- Conduct employee induction sessions, exit interviews, and grievance resolutions and report findings to management.
- Support the review and finalization of promotions, salary changes, resignations, and dismissals.
- Address disciplinary matters in compliance with UAE labor law and collaborate with management to maintain a positive work environment.
- Provide counseling services to employees as needed.
- Assist HR head in organizing and executing employee training and development programs.
- Implement HR strategies including reward systems.
- Coordinate with Accounts and Payroll departments on wage administration and WPS affairs.
- Review employee reimbursements, travel expenses, school fees, loans, and gratuity in accordance with company policies and UAE labor laws.
- Maintain accurate employee files and records appropriately.
- Lead and support departmental functionaries in their daily operational tasks.
- Prepare and update organizational charts, standard operating procedures, and company policies as necessary.
- Lead HR internal and external audit processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- At least seven years of relevant experience, including two years in a managerial role.
Key Knowledge and Skills
- Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of UAE labor law and strong technical proficiency.
