HR Project Manager

Job Overview

Become a key contributor at Etihad by managing critical, people-centric HR projects from planning through implementation. You'll drive a variety of HR initiatives, ensuring deliverables align with agreed timelines, scopes, and resource allocations. This role necessitates close collaboration with HR teams and business stakeholders, providing governance, reporting, documentation, and hands-on support for the HR project portfolio, with a significant focus on the HR Operating Model programme and related change management efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor progress across HR projects in line with the strategic HR roadmap, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met.
• Facilitate and support implementation of HR initiatives and transformation programs, particularly the ongoing HR Operating Model project.
• Enforce project management best practices, governance protocols, and reporting requirements throughout all HR projects.
• Collaborate with HR departments and cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and ensure seamless execution of project objectives.
• Compile and present project status updates, including progress reports, risk assessments, issue tracking, and key decision documentation for governance committees and leadership.
• Guarantee timely achievement of project milestones, proactively escalating risks or delays with proposed mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with HR leadership and HR Technology teams to prioritize and execute HR initiatives and system enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Human Resources, Business, Systems, or related fields.
• At least five years of experience managing projects or programs within HR contexts, with practical knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMP or PRINCE2 certifications preferred.
• Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and tackle ambiguous challenges with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated history of ownership and effective collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to achieve results.
• Experience with LEAN Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
