HR Manager

About the Role

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a motivated and experienced HR Manager to lead and inspire their hotel team. This role is a unique opportunity to influence the culture and success of the property, driving high performance and fostering a positive workplace environment. The HR Manager will report directly to the Hotel General Manager and have a dotted reporting line to the Group HR Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and staff selection, including internal promotions and succession planning.
• Champion employee training and development to prepare staff for career advancement.
• Develop and implement effective employee engagement initiatives within the hotel.
• Handle industrial relations and employee relations proactively to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, maintain accurate records, and manage pertinent documentation.
• Oversee payroll budgets and processes using Time and Attendance software.

Requirements

• Between 3 and 5 years’ experience in HR management, preferably within a hotel or customer-focused environment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
• Holds a third-level qualification in HRM, Business, or a related discipline; CIPD certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to increase employee engagement successfully.
• Experience managing payroll and budget control.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at various organisational levels.
• Sound knowledge of employment laws and relevant legislation.
