Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous, proactive, and employee-centered HR Associate to become part of our Human Resources team. This position involves supporting daily HR activities and thoroughly managing the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance evaluations, payroll coordination, and departures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR operations and provide assistance to staff and management on various HR topics.
- Keep comprehensive and precise records of employee information, contracts, HR systems, and documentation.
- Coordinate the monthly payroll, including attendance tracking, leave, overtime, deductions, bonuses, allowances, and salary adjustments, collaborating closely with Finance for accuracy and punctuality.
- Monitor and manage attendance, leave, working hours, and employee data ensuring all details are current and precise.
- Serve as the main HR contact for employees regarding policies, payroll, benefits, leave, attendance, and general inquiries.
- Facilitate employee relations by addressing concerns, grievances, disciplinary issues, and workplace conflicts professionally and confidentially.
- Manage employee benefits such as medical insurance and allowances, including coordination with external providers if necessary.
- Support performance management activities including probation confirmations, reviews, appraisals, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, internal transfers, promotions, and the offboarding process including documentation and final settlements.
- Contribute to employee engagement through internal communications, organizing company events, and supporting a positive work culture.
- Prepare detailed HR reports and maintain trackers related to headcount, payroll, attendance, leave, employee movements, and other HR metrics.
- Communicate HR policies effectively and ensure their uniform application throughout the organization.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in HR, ideally in HR Operations, HR Generalist, or a similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions including payroll, employee relations, attendance and leave management, and HR administration.
- Experience with HR management software is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with employees and leadership.
