Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in upholding exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the outlet. They oversee all housekeeping operations and ensure that the premises are well-maintained and visually inviting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the housekeeping team with duties such as daily shift planning and task assignments.
• Maintain cleanliness in various areas including dining spaces, washrooms, kitchen support zones, staff areas, entrance, and other designated locations.
• Conduct systematic inspections to verify that all areas comply with the company's hygiene and cleanliness protocols.
• Track attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance metrics of housekeeping personnel.
• Ensure efficient and timely cleaning of all tables, floors, glass surfaces, doors, windows, and common areas.
• Maintain sufficient inventory levels of cleaning agents, consumables, tissues, garbage bags, and other housekeeping supplies.
• Oversee the correct utilization of cleaning materials to reduce waste and prevent excess consumption.
• Implement and monitor proper waste segregation, collection, and disposal procedures according to company policies.
• Train housekeeping staff on proper cleaning methods, hygiene practices, safety measures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with the Café Manager and Food & Beverage team to address cleanliness needs and operational challenges.
• Promptly report any maintenance, hygiene, safety, or facility-related issues to the relevant manager for action.
• Maintain detailed daily housekeeping checklists, cleaning logs, and inventory records.
• Ensure all guest-facing areas stay clean, orderly, fresh, and ready for service throughout operating hours.
• Take full accountability for daily housekeeping operations, guaranteeing consistent standards are met across the outlet.
