Overview

The Cashier position involves managing billing and payment activities with a primary focus on accuracy, promptness, and delivering courteous guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process billing and payment transactions with efficiency.
• Use POS systems like Petpooja to enter and manage orders correctly.
• Carefully verify bills, applied discounts, promotional offers, taxes, and payment specifics before finalizing transactions.
• Accept cash, cards, UPI, and other authorized payment options and handle them responsibly.
• Keep precise records of cash collections, receipts, and daily financial reports.
• Conduct cash counts and reconcile cash at shift changes; promptly report any discrepancies observed.
• Collaborate with Captains, Service Staff, Kitchen teams, and Management to address any billing or order concerns.
• Ensure prompt billing processes especially during busy periods to reduce guest wait times.
• Politely and professionally respond to guest questions regarding bills and payments.
• Protect sensitive cash, billing, and guest information by maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier counter and adjacent areas to ensure a professional appearance.
• Adhere strictly to company SOPs, billing protocols, hygiene practices, and cash handling policies.
• Assist management by preparing sales reports, payment summaries, and completing end-of-day closing tasks.
