Role Summary

The position of Housekeeping Supervisor involves full-time, on-site management of daily housekeeping activities. Responsibilities include assigning daily cleaning tasks, overseeing cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas, enforcing housekeeping standards, supervising staff training and performance evaluations, and collaborating closely with front office and maintenance to ensure efficient operations and quick resolution of guest requests and issues.

This role also manages laundry operations, inventory of cleaning materials and linen supplies, while ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations. It requires professional handling of guest interactions and fostering a productive and positive workplace environment.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in team supervision and task management.
• Hands-on expertise in housekeeping best practices, including room cleaning and maintenance of public spaces.
• Proficiency in laundry tasks, such as linen handling, stain removal, and equipment operation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for engaging with guests and staff effectively, addressing feedback with professionalism.
• Previous experience in hotel or resort housekeeping departments is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of fundamental safety, cleanliness, and quality assurance protocols.
• Minimum education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related certifications are preferable.
