Housekeeping Associate

Position Overview

As a Housekeeping Associate at Renaissance Hotels in Goa, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment that reflects the spirit of the neighborhood and Marriott International's standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly respond to guest requests and collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Prepare and fill carts with necessary supplies; transport carts to designated areas efficiently.
• Enter guest rooms following established procedures to confirm vacancy; replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Remove used linens and replace them with clean items; make beds and fold towels neatly.
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly and dispose of trash, soiled linens, and room service items appropriately.
• Verify that all appliances in guest rooms are present and functioning properly.
• Organize and straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances; dust and polish surfaces, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties throughout guest rooms and hallways.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety and security policies; report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and injuries promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Greet guests warmly, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 25 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance; push and pull loaded carts over varying surfaces; and execute movements such as bending, twisting, stooping, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by supervisors to support team objectives.

Qualifications

• Education: No high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: No previous related work experience necessary.
• Supervisory Experience: Not required.
• Licenses/Certifications: None needed.
