Role Overview

As a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant at Summerset Mountain View village, you play a vital role behind the scenes in maintaining a clean, safe, and homelike atmosphere. Your efforts ensure that residents, their families, and team members enjoy a comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough cleaning services in resident rooms, bathrooms, communal spaces, laundry, and kitchen areas.
• Carefully launder, fold, and return residents’ clothing and linens, ensuring attention to detail.
• Label, mend, and manage residents' personal laundry items diligently.
• Support infection control and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Build respectful, friendly relationships with residents, recognizing their individual needs.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in housekeeping, preferably within healthcare or hospitality sectors.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Physical stamina to work on feet and perform various tasks.
• Genuine interest in aged care; full training provided if new to the field.
