Housekeeper

About the Role

Join Aspira Doon Village Retirement Living as a full-time Housekeeper. Working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, with occasional weekend shifts, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. This position is more than housekeeping; it’s about building meaningful relationships and enhancing residents' daily lives with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive assignments and prepare cleaning supplies and materials.
• Carry out diverse cleaning tasks including resident room maintenance, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet shampooing.
• Perform spot cleaning of walls, windows, and doors.
• Dust and disinfect furniture, shelves, and woodwork thoroughly.
• Empty wastebaskets and rearrange furniture as necessary.
• Ensure bathrooms are cleaned and disinfected daily, including floors, fixtures, and walls.
• Prepare rooms for new occupants, ensuring they are always ready for tours.
• Respect residents’ privacy during all cleaning activities.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
