Job description
Overview
This leadership role involves overseeing comprehensive property operations, acting as General Manager in their absence. Key areas include Front Office, Retail/Gift Shops, Recreation/Fitness Center, Housekeeping, Security/Loss Prevention, Engineering/Maintenance, Food and Beverage/Culinary, and Event Management when applicable. The manager collaborates closely with the Executive Committee and department heads to craft and execute operational strategies aligned with brand standards, focusing on customer satisfaction, employee engagement, revenue growth, and maximizing financial success. Serving as an Executive Committee member, the position develops property-wide initiatives to meet or surpass expectations of guests and staff while ensuring investment returns.

Candidate Profile
- Proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
- Commercial experience is preferred.
- Experience working in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is desirable.
- Educational qualifications include either a 3-year degree with 8 years of relevant management experience or a 4-year bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, sales, marketing, or related fields.
Core Responsibilities
- Direct and monitor departmental budgets and profitability, ensuring focus on critical operational factors that drive guest satisfaction and financial targets.
- Foster an operational environment that enhances overall guest experience.
- Analyze financial statements to gauge operational performance against budget and utilization of capital expenditure funds aligned with service strategy priorities.
- Identify operational challenges, develop, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Coach and guide operational teams on occupancy, wage management, and controllable expenses, holding them accountable for outcomes.
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with brand business goals, making key decisions to propel the property toward its objectives.
- Enhance service performance by communicating clear operational goals and continuously implementing brand and regional initiatives.
- Regularly engage with employees and guests through property tours to assess needs and optimize operational opportunities.
- Lead and unite property operations teams behind a shared vision for product and service delivery.
- Ensure equitable treatment of employees and model desired service behaviors.
- Conduct hiring, performance reviews, and foster an open-door policy to address employee concerns and improve satisfaction.
