Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

Overview

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor at The Ritz-Carlton Saudi Arabia plays a vital role in maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and quality across guest rooms, public areas, pools, and more. This position involves overseeing housekeeping operations, managing team coordination, and ensuring compliance with the brand's luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, pools, etc., following housekeeping to confirm quality standards are met.
• Generate reports on room occupancy and status; identify rooms unsuitable for guests; establish cleaning priorities, and update departing room statuses.
• Assist housekeeping management in daily operational activities.
• Communicate and coordinate efforts with housekeeping, engineering, front desk, and laundry departments.
• Document and resolve issues related to unsuitable rooms in collaboration with the front desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes to assignment sheets and schedules.
• Report unresolved issues to the following shifts and complete required administrative tasks.
• Support management in recruitment, training, scheduling, employee evaluation, counseling, discipline enforcement, motivation, and coaching.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications as required.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uniform confidentiality of sensitive information and safeguard company assets.
• Promote respect and dignity among colleagues and contribute to common team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform physical activities including reaching, bending, climbing stairs and slopes, moving in confined spaces, lifting and transporting items up to 25 kg alone and heavier items with assistance, and pushing or pulling loaded housekeeping carts on uneven surfaces.
• Stand, kneel, sit, and walk extensively throughout shifts, respond appropriately to guest and staff concerns using clear and courteous communication.
• Execute any additional duties assigned by supervisors consistent with the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• Minimum of one year in a supervisory role.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.

Employment type is full-time and non-management, located at Ummahat Islands 2-3, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, onsite.
