About the Role

The Hotel Cleanliness Expert at St. Regis Abu Dhabi ensures all guest rooms and assigned areas meet the hotel's strict cleanliness and maintenance standards. This role demands attentiveness to guests' requirements while upholding the traditions of luxury service for which St. Regis is renowned. The position is based at the Nation Tower, Corniche in Abu Dhabi and is full-time and on-site.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receive and return master keys and ensure work assignments are properly documented and submitted.
• Perform daily guest room cleaning and tidying, including night turndown service.
• Maintain cleanliness of marble and granite flooring, carpets, wallpapers, furniture, and bathrooms in guest rooms and hallways daily.
• Keep the working environment organized and spotless, ensuring all cleaning equipment is tidy.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas like the lobby and restrooms.
• Report any defects, damages to fixed assets, furniture, carpets, or upholstery promptly.
• Handle lost and found items by notifying housekeeping.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity concerning guests or staff.
• Follow grooming and uniform guidelines strictly.
• Adhere to all health and safety legislation relevant to the workplace.
• Operate courteously, efficiently, and within St. Regis Abu Dhabi policies, promoting bespoke and uncompromising guest service.
• Be available to work any shift assigned by housekeeping management.
• Use cleaning chemicals responsibly, strictly following hotel instructions.

Qualification Criteria

• Graduation degree is mandatory.
• At least two years’ experience in housekeeping within the hotel or service industry.
• Ability to work various shifts as scheduled by supervisors.
• Capability to work in dusty or less clean conditions.
• Basic English reading and writing proficiency.
