Guest Experience Supervisor / Night Audit

Overview

Join the prestigious St. Regis Hotels & Resorts located on The Pearl Island in Doha, Qatar as a Guest Experience Supervisor / Night Audit in a full-time capacity. This role involves ensuring a flawless guest experience alongside accurate night audit and financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage guest check-ins by verifying identity, confirming payment methods, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
• Set up and maintain precise guest accounts tailored to individual requirements, including processing Marriott Rewards information.
• Ensure rate accuracy and compliance with market codes while handling exceptions and securing payments before check-in.
• Handle payment processing, including vouchers, paid-outs, and charges, balancing receipts and compiling daily reports such as cashier and closing statements.
• Coordinate with Loss Prevention/Security regarding any reports of theft.
• Assist management with employee training, evaluation, motivation, counseling, and coaching, serving as a role model and primary contact for Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy issues.
• Foster positive workplace relationships, support team goals, listen and respond to employee concerns professionally.
• Enforce company policies, report unsafe conditions or incidents, maintain safety and confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Deliver excellent guest service by anticipating needs, assisting guests including those with disabilities, and conveying appreciation sincerely.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in written form, and adhere to quality standards while using computerized systems efficiently.
• Physically able to stand, sit, or walk for extended durations and handle objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform additional reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Experience: Minimum one year in a related role and at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Licenses/Certifications: None required.
