Position Overview

Join W Hotels as a Host/Hostess located in West Crescent, Dubai. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they are warmly welcomed and comfortably seated. Your role includes managing the dining room seating arrangements and maintaining the overall ambiance to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and ascertain the size of their party.
• Escort guests to clean and available tables, assist with chairs, and provide current menus.
• Manage seating layouts, including moving tables and chairs, and accommodate guests with special needs.
• Ensure each place setting is complete with napkins, clean cutlery, and other standard items.
• Regularly check menus to keep them up-to-date, clean, and wrinkle-free.
• Maintain cleanliness in your work area throughout the day by practicing clean-as-you-go methods.
• Monitor the dining area for seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and well-being.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety, security policies, and procedures and promptly report any incidents or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and keep confidentiality regarding all proprietary information.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with guests and colleagues, including proper telephone etiquette.
• Support team efforts and maintain positive workplace relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, including physical tasks like standing, walking, or carrying items up to 10 pounds.

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior experience or supervisory background is necessary.
• No specific licenses or certifications are required.
