Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cooking ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food items appropriately.
• Cook dishes adhering to established recipes, quality and presentation standards, along with food preparation checklists.
• Use kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers proficiently.
• Set up and dismantle your workstation efficiently before and after shifts.
• Serve food portions correctly using appropriate containers.
• Maintain cleanliness by washing and disinfecting kitchen surfaces, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Regularly verify and ensure that food and appliance temperatures are correct and safe.
• Adhere to luxury five-star hospitality standards and procedures consistently.

Requirements

• Availability to work overnight shifts typically starting around 8:30-9:00 PM and finishing between 4:30-5:00 AM, including weekends and public holidays as required by business needs.
• Strong passion for food and eagerness to demonstrate culinary skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse and energetic team.
• Effective communication skills paired with a reputation for dependability.
• Must hold full working rights in Australia.
