Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Hostess to join our Saadiyat Beach Club team. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly welcome guests, ensuring a consistently polite and efficient interaction while overseeing welcoming duties throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional, friendly, and engaging service at all times.
- Welcome guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and remain accessible to attend to their needs as the main point of contact.
- Manage reservations, including maintaining the reservation book and responding promptly to telephone and email inquiries.
- Prepare the outlet setup before opening hours alongside the service team.
- Collaborate with service staff to arrange seating plans, reservations, and table blocks based on floor layouts.
- Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the outlet and entrance areas.
- Maintain close, friendly, yet discreet interactions to assure guest well-being.
- Memorize current menus and promotions to effectively recommend options upon guest requests.
- Regularly check menus for quality, ensuring they are current, clean, sufficient in number, and wrinkle-free.
- Identify opportunities for social media content, providing suggestions to outlet management and marketing communications.
- Promote the restaurant in lobby areas during peak periods.
- Assist in building and updating the outlet’s database.
- Confirm guest satisfaction before their departure.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in Food & Beverage, ideally within beach clubs, resorts, or high-volume settings.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service communication skills.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Reliable, committed, and able to coordinate effectively with team members.
- Strong organizational skills and capacity to multitask.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, outdoor environments.
- Willingness to work shifts that include weekends and public holidays.
