Role Overview

Abajour Restaurant is seeking to hire a Hostess to support its restaurant operations by managing guest interactions and front-of-house coordination.

Responsibilities

• Handle bookings through various channels such as in-person, telephone, and online platforms.
• Inform walk-in customers about waiting times when prior reservations are not available.
• Maintain an ambiance that reflects the restaurant’s branding and image.
• Address customer feedback and assist in resolving any issues customers encounter.
• Offer specialized attention to large groups and VIP clientele.
• Uphold standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the front-of-house area.
• Assist with the restaurant’s opening and closing procedures.
• Study and understand the food and beverage menu thoroughly.

Requirements

• Mandatory fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
• Possess one to two years of relevant experience working in an international setting.
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Employment Terms

• This is a full-time role.
• The position requires working onsite at the restaurant location in Qatar.
