About The Role

Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) invites applications for the position of Hostess within its Food & Beverage Airport Services team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional hospitality and guest services at one of the world's top airport lounges. Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and assist them with seating to ensure a welcoming and smooth lounge experience.
• Provide detailed explanations of food and beverage offerings, particularly buffet selections, coordinating with servers, chefs, and managers to maintain exemplary service.
• Gather and report guest feedback promptly to the Supervisor on Duty to help enhance satisfaction and service quality.
• Retrieve daily VIP and Invitation-Only guest lists from EK reception and inform the Supervisor and Chef on Duty to prepare for special visits effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of VIP and Invitation-Only guests’ preferences and visit history to personalize future interactions.
• Work closely with the Supervisor on Duty to ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available to support efficient operations.
• Uphold meticulous inventory documentation for wine and store receipts, reporting any irregularities immediately to the Assistant F&B Manager.
• Ensure smooth transition between shifts by taking over responsibilities from the previous supervisor, completing all reports accurately, and managing stock effectively.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lounge space, adhering strictly to hygiene and QHSE standards for guest comfort and safety.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management or an equivalent qualification.
• At least five years’ serving as a hostess in upscale hospitality environments such as luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.
• Proficient knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards to safeguard guests and comply with health protocols.

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with a diverse guest base; fluency in English is mandatory, Arabic is preferred.
• Strong organizational capabilities, adept at multitasking in fast-paced settings.
• Team-player mentality to collaborate seamlessly with serving staff, supervisors, and airline clients.
• High attention to detail, especially in record keeping, inventory management, and adherence to procedures.
