Position Overview

We are seeking a Commis III to join our kitchen operations in Dubai. This role involves supporting food preparation and storage activities while adhering strictly to hygiene and safety guidelines. The successful candidate will work under supervision and contribute to maintaining high standards in the kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring proper storage and handling of food items in compliance with senior guidance.
• Prepare and arrange dishes according to prescribed menus, following established hygiene and safety protocols.
• Gain familiarity with kitchen products, processes, menus, ingredients, and equipment to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Execute tasks in line with instructions from supervisors.
• Uphold consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, storage areas, chillers, and freezers.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment functions correctly, reporting any malfunctions or damage promptly.
• Participate in cost-saving initiatives and minimize food wastage.
• Attend all relevant training sessions assigned at this level.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment, reporting any issues to senior staff.
• Comply with all quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School certificate.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.
• No prior professional experience required.
