Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host or Hostess for the front desk at a Punjabi restaurant located in Bengaluru. This is a customer-facing position where you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting arrivals and managing the waiting area during busy periods.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and interact warmly with guests upon their arrival to the restaurant.
- Efficiently organize and maintain the waiting queue to ensure a smooth flow of customers.
- Manage crowd control when the restaurant is busy, keeping guests informed and engaged.
- Maintain courteous and ongoing communication with patrons as they wait.
