Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Hook Lift Driver for a permanent full-time role based in Morningside, Queensland. This position involves essential waste collection and transportation services across the Brisbane region.
Working Hours and Compensation
- Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with additional overtime opportunities
- Pay rate: $36.22 per hour plus overtime penalties
- Uniforms and training provided
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to perform waste collection services
- Transport waste loads to specified recycling and disposal centers
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-presented both internally and externally
Candidate Profile
- Must hold an unrestricted HR Licence with at least one year of driving experience
- Waste industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Demonstrate teamwork and capability to work independently
- Professional appearance and commitment to customer service
- Reliable, safety-focused, and motivated to learn and grow
