The Role

As a Territory Manager reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will join our expert Oils and Technical Services team. You will cover the region from Cairns to Port Douglas and Innisfail, working within Queensland's extensive waste management network renowned for its market position.

• Establish and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospective business and key contract renewals.
• Promote sustainable waste management practices to support company growth initiatives.
• Manage clients and prospects actively throughout the sales process.
• Coordinate with internal operations, technical experts, and other business units to craft integrated solutions for complex waste management challenges.
• Report regularly on sales and financial performance metrics.

Candidate Profile

We seek a relationship-driven professional with a consultative approach to sales and a strong record in B2B customer retention and business development. Key attributes and experience include:

• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Expertise in identifying, pursuing, and successfully closing new business opportunities.
• Background in Technical Waste Industry, or familiarity with highly regulated sectors or Transport & Logistics is highly valued.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and proactive style.
• Self-motivated, well-organized with excellent presentation abilities and strong verbal and written communication.
