About the Role
Join Bendigo Bank as a Home Lending Specialist, also known internally as a Customer Relationship Manager, where you will play an essential role in supporting customers through their entire home lending journey. You will help a diverse range of clients, from first home buyers to experienced investors, by providing expert guidance and ensuring an outstanding banking experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a steady pipeline of lending prospects, maintaining and nurturing these relationships through our CRM system throughout their purchasing process.
- Assist customers by simplifying the lending procedures, providing reassurance, and helping them reach their financial goals.
- Utilize your credit assessment skills and a thorough understanding of customer needs to secure favorable lending outcomes and prepare clients for future financial success.
- Collaborate closely with the community, branch team, and Branch Manager to achieve excellent lending results.
- Adopt a mindset of continuous learning, engaging with training opportunities to advance your career.
- Build meaningful connections by supporting customers and contributing positively to the community, fostering enjoyment in the workplace.
What You Bring
- Proven extensive experience in customer service or sales roles.
- In-depth knowledge of lending products, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport quickly with customers and colleagues, understand their needs, and view their circumstances holistically.
- Advanced competence in credit analysis.
- Familiarity with small business banking products.
- Essential experience specifically in consumer lending.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Wollongong, with a roster totaling 76 hours every two weeks.
