About the Role

Join Iceland Foods as a Home Delivery Driver where you will play a crucial role in delivering groceries and connecting with customers across Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. This position offers an hourly pay rate of £13.71 and is designed for individuals who enjoy an active work environment and engaging with people while being independent on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the van is loaded safely, applying proper manual handling and lifting techniques.
• Maintain adherence to all safe driving protocols.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after delivery routes.
• Deliver groceries ensuring they arrive in excellent condition.
• Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with store duties as needed.
• Manage time efficiently while working independently.
• Be flexible to work varying shifts between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full driving license held for at least three years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A positive and friendly attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer experience.
• Punctuality and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrated strong awareness and commitment to road safety.
