Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking motivated Home Delivery Drivers to represent our company by delivering groceries and other items to customers, acting as a key connection between the business and the community. This role requires a driven individual who enjoys staying active and values independent work while providing outstanding customer interactions.
Key Duties
- Follow correct loading procedures for delivery vans, including safe manual handling and lifting techniques.
- Adhere strictly to road safety standards and safe driving practices at all times.
- Conduct thorough van inspections before trips to ensure vehicle safety and readiness.
- Guarantee that all delivered food arrives in optimal condition to the customer.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist with store tasks as needed to support operational needs.
- Effectively manage time and workload while working independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shift schedules that may start as early as 6am or end as late as 11pm.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a full driving license held for a minimum of three years with no more than six penalty points.
- A positive attitude combined with a friendly nature and passion for customer service excellence.
- Demonstrated punctuality and ability to meet deadlines reliably.
- Strong knowledge and commitment to road safety regulations.
