About the Role
We are seeking motivated Home Delivery Drivers to join our team in Dursley, England. This role involves delivering groceries directly to customers, requiring a responsible and customer-focused approach. You will be the face of the company in the community, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products while maintaining excellent customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Load delivery vans following safe manual handling and lifting practices.
- Maintain adherence to all road safety and safe driving regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure delivered items arrive in optimal condition.
- Offer outstanding customer service during all deliveries.
- Support retail store operations when needed.
- Work independently, managing your schedule efficiently, with shift times varying between early morning and late evening (6am to 11pm).
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a full driving license held for a minimum of three years, with no more than six penalty points.
- Exhibit a positive, friendly attitude and a dedication to exceptional customer experience.
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong focus on road safety and awareness.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of £13.71.
