About the Role

We are seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Iceland Foods in Selby, England. This role involves delivering shopping orders safely and efficiently, while engaging directly with customers as a representative of the company. Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans safely, following all appropriate manual handling and lifting protocols.
• Adhere strictly to safe driving practices at all times on the road.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the van is in good condition.
• Ensure food items arrive at customers in optimal condition, maintaining quality throughout delivery.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by being friendly, approachable, and attentive to customer needs.
• Assist with in-store tasks when required to support store operations.
• Work independently, effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks.
• Be flexible to work varying shifts, which may range between 6am and 11pm.

Requirements

• Possess a valid full driving license held for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Show a positive, friendly attitude with a passion for excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate punctuality and ability to meet deadlines reliably.
• Maintain a strong awareness of road safety and compliance with driving laws.
