About the Role
Speedy Hire, a leading UK provider of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant, and support services, seeks a Hire Desk Controller at our Wellington depot. This role is essential to our frontline sales and customer service operations, managing the hire process from order placement to delivery and collection.
Key Responsibilities
The Hire Desk Controller will work primarily from the depot, coordinating closely with various departments including stock teams, drivers, and engineers to ensure timely provision of equipment and high customer satisfaction. Relationship building and communication across teams are critical to effectively fulfill customer requirements with minimal delays.

- Possession of a valid driving license
- Prior experience in the hire industry or similar operational or sales role

Work Schedule
This is a full-time role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00, totaling 45 hours per week.
