Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

About the Role

Team Global Express is recruiting a permanent, full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to be part of their workshop team located at Perth Airport, Western Australia. This role requires working Monday to Friday on 12-hour shifts. The successful candidate will be in charge of servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy vehicles to uphold safety, reliability, and operational readiness.

The fleet includes brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Hino, and Freightliner. Responsibilities cover general servicing, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across mechanical, pneumatic, diesel, auto electrical, air conditioning, and hydraulic systems.

Your Profile

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic (minimum Certificate III)
• Proven experience in heavy vehicle mechanics
• Strong expertise in servicing, maintenance, and repair tasks
• Proficiency in diagnostics and fault finding
• Experience working with mechanical, pneumatic, diesel, hydraulic, auto electrical, and related vehicle systems
• Capability to perform well in a fast-paced workshop
• Demonstrated dedication to safety and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
• Ability to deliver quality work within operational time limits
• Reliable, hands-on work approach with meticulous attention to detail
