The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST), established by Emiri Decision No13 of 2022, is Qatar's pioneering national university focused on applied, technical, and professional education. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive maintenance of Human Capital (HC) system data.
- Deliver first-level functional support to users of the HC system.
- Track and manage HC system-related requests, incidents, and enhancement processes.
- Collect and document detailed functional business requirements.
- Create process flow diagrams and maintain thorough system documentation.
- Lead and participate in User Acceptance Testing activities.
- Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, release cycles, and new implementations.
- Keep user guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base materials updated.
- Conduct system training sessions and provide guidance to end-users.
- Monitor data integrity and resolve discrepancies within system data.
- Support audits related to system use and data accuracy.
- Administer HC SharePoint sites and related document libraries.
- Collaborate with the IT Directorate to address system issues and coordinate requirements.
- Generate HC reports and ensure the accuracy of report data.
- Document changes and configurations related to the HC system.
- Support digital initiatives related to Human Capital and manage post-implementation activities.
- Identify and propose improvements to workflows, system utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive HC information with controlled access.
- Work closely with HC stakeholders and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- Certifications related to HRIS or HCM platforms such as PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or their equivalents are advantageous.
- Professional certifications in Business Analysis or process improvement (e.g., ECBA, CCBA, CBAP) are preferred.
- Additional coursework or training in Human Capital Information Systems, data management, business process analysis, reporting, or Human Capital management enhances candidacy.
- Hands-on experience supporting HCM/HRIS applications, managing employee data, and working with HR-related systems is required; familiarity with payroll systems adds value.
- Between 3 and 5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting Human Capital Management or HRIS enterprise systems including user support, data oversight, requirements gathering, functional testing, reporting, documentation, and training is needed.
- Experience in coordinating system enhancements, UAT, or HR digital transformation projects is preferred.
- Prior experience with PeopleSoft HCM or a similar enterprise-level HCM platform is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in Arabic is desirable.
