Role Overview

Advance your driving career by joining Linfox as a Heavy Combination (HC) Vehicle Driver. This role involves safely and efficiently transporting freight containers between the rail terminal and various local customer sites, contributing to a robust safety culture while delivering excellent service.

Work Schedule

• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm
• Afternoon shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe transport of freight containers between rail terminals and customer destinations
• Commit daily to Linfox's Vision Zero safety culture
• Correctly perform coupling and uncoupling tasks following company protocols
• Assist with loading and unloading tasks as needed
• Adhere to Chain of Responsibility regulations, road transport laws, and internal policies
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, operations teams, and site stakeholders
• Work autonomously with professionalism and accountability

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating HC vehicles with a valid HC license
• Proven track record of safe work practices
• Experience working in rail terminal environments is highly valued
• Familiarity with the Regency Park metropolitan area
• Experience handling manual tasks responsibly
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
