AM Transport Allocator

About the Role

Become a valued member of Linfox's Retail team as an AM Transport Allocator based in Redbank, Queensland. This hands-on position focuses on allocating transport resources, planning delivery routes, and dispatching metropolitan shipments. Shift work follows a rotating schedule of four days on and four days off, with 12-hour shifts from 2:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to maintain smooth operations and positive working relationships.
• Maintain meticulous records including run sheets, schedules, and compliance documentation.
• Keep customers regularly updated about their delivery statuses and any relevant changes.
• Commit to adhering to safety protocols and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements at all times.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive outlook and dedication who is willing to learn and advance within the role. You should have:

• Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocation is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proficient to advanced computer skills; familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland's metropolitan and nearby geographic regions.
• Ability to maintain organization and efficiency under pressure.
• Excellent oral and written communication capabilities.
