Gypsum Carpenter

Job Summary

We are looking to recruit skilled Gypsum Carpenters for projects involving construction, interiors, and fit-outs in Dubai, UAE. Successful candidates will be responsible for installing gypsum boards, false ceilings, partitions, framing, and performing finishing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Professionally install gypsum board systems, drywall, and partitions per project specifications.
• Construct false ceilings, wall partitions, and ornamental gypsum features.
• Precisely measure, cut, and secure gypsum boards.
• Set up metal frames, channels, studs, and provide structural support.
• Complete finishing tasks on gypsum ceilings and partitions, including joint filling and sanding.
• Prepare surfaces adequately for painting and final finishes.
• Interpret basic construction drawings, layouts, and measurements accurately.
• Maintain alignment, levelness, and ensure high-quality finishes of all gypsum installations.
• Perform repairs or modifications to existing gypsum structures as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and other trade professionals.
• Adhere strictly to site safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Gypsum Carpenter in relevant roles.
• Experience in construction, interior design, or fit-out projects is preferred.
• Strong expertise in gypsum board installation, including false ceilings and partitions.
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and gypsum installation equipment.
• Ability to understand basic blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality finishes.
• Physically capable and willing to work on construction sites.
