Role Overview

This full-time on-site Carpenter position in Dubai involves diverse construction and repair tasks such as precise measuring, cutting, and assembling of wood, formwork, and other materials integral to concrete and structural projects. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings and specifications, erecting and dismantling formwork and framing, ensuring work compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating closely with site supervisors and other trades. Maintaining equipment, assisting with troubleshooting on active sites, adapting to dynamic site conditions, and supporting project timelines are essential duties to foster a safe and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing of wood and formwork for structural purposes.
• Interpret and apply construction drawings, plans, and specifications relevant to concrete and infrastructure projects.
• Install and dismantle formwork and framing structures in accordance with project requirements.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company standards on the construction site.
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct routine maintenance and care of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
• Adapt to changing job site environments while meeting deadlines and quality goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven carpentry expertise, including formwork and structural component installation.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings and project specifications.
• Strong knowledge and practice of construction safety standards and regulations.
• Experience working on infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects involving concrete repair is preferred.
• Competent with hand and power tools relevant to carpentry tasks.
• Physical fitness to perform manual labor, work at heights, and operate under various site conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to work efficiently onsite.
• Relevant vocational training or certifications in carpentry or construction; prior Middle East experience is advantageous.
