Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping

Job Summary

This position involves promptly addressing requests from guests and internal departments, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas. Key duties include entering guest rooms following proper protocols, replenishing amenities, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, removing waste, checking room appliances, and ensuring all furnishings are neat and clean.

Core Responsibilities

• Respond swiftly to guest and departmental requests while supporting team objectives.
• Restock supply carts and deliver them to designated locations.
• Gain authorized access to guest rooms, verify vacancy, and perform cleaning tasks including bed-making, tidying up, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Dispose of trash, dirty linens, and room service items carefully and maintain room appliances and furniture.
• Execute floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets in rooms and hallways.
• Adhere to all company policies, particularly regarding safety and security; report any hazards, accidents, or repairs needed.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality with proprietary information.
• Provide warm and professional guest welcomes, attend to service needs including assisting guests with disabilities, and express appreciation upon departure.
• Communicate clearly and professionally at all times.
• Meet physical demands such as lifting objects up to 25 pounds unassisted, pushing loaded carts over uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, standing, and walking throughout shifts.
• Carry out additional duties delegated by supervisors as necessary.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirements - a high school diploma or equivalent is not mandatory.
• No prior work or supervisory experience required.
• No certifications or licenses required for the role.
