Complex Sales Executive - Corporate

Position Overview

This role involves interacting with various departments like Sales, Data Administration, and Accounting to efficiently address guest calls, inquiries, or issues. The sales strategies employed focus on maximizing revenue while retaining customer loyalty, including up-selling techniques. Responsibilities include managing guest rewards and compliments, such as rewards points, show tickets, and gift certificates.

Key Duties

• Handle reservation requests, changes, and cancellations through multiple communication channels including phone, fax, and mail.
• Input Marriott Rewards data accurately into designated software systems.
• Support Sales & Marketing through office tasks like filing, emailing, typing, and faxing.
• Assist management by motivating and training staff and acting as a role model.
• Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in appearance, uphold company policies, and safeguard confidential information and assets.
• Welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and deliver genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, adhering to proper telephone etiquette.
• Foster positive working relationships and support team goals by responding thoughtfully to colleagues' concerns.
• Monitor colleagues' performance to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform physical tasks involving light lifting (up to 10 pounds) as needed.
• Carry out additional tasks as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• At least two years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No licenses or certifications are mandated.
