Role Overview

The Guest Environment Expert position is a full-time role based in Edmonton, Alberta, requiring open availability. Primarily focused on housekeeping, the expert ensures that all areas of the hotel are clean, organized, and inviting to guests, contributing to a memorable stay. Their duties include responding to guest needs, replenishing supplies, cleaning guest rooms and public areas, and other hospitality-focused tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the hotel premises.
• Respond promptly to guest requests to enhance their experience.
• Stock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
• Clean guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, and carrying.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism, including appropriate uniform, personal appearance, and communication.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and physically handle job demands.
• Open availability for full-time work schedule.

Additional Information

This is a non-management position located on-site at the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District. The hourly wage is fixed at $21.67. Tip eligibility is applicable.
