About Paires
Paires is an AI-first fundraising platform designed to connect startup founders with suitable investors from a broad, engaged global network. The platform operates on a two-sided model, is live with paying clients, profitable, self-funded, and developed by a small, senior, flat team prioritizing fast iterations.
Role Overview
As the GTM Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the top-of-funnel processes which encompass more than just outbound outreach. Your goal is to ensure top-quality interactions by generating and automating data-driven systems that identify and target the right prospects at the ideal time, converting them into meetings. You will personally own the entire engine behind this funnel, handling data ingestion, deduplication, enrichment, targeting algorithms, and monitoring the health and effectiveness of ongoing outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the outreach engine.
- Manage and consolidate data sources into a clean, unified system.
- Develop targeting systems to identify the ideal customer profile (ICP) and the best moments for engagement.
- Ensure data integrity through domain matching, entity resolution, and enrichment processes.
- Oversee deliverability, suppression checks, and track outcomes such as meetings and replies, feeding insights back into data improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience owning and managing top-of-funnel processes with a track record of generating new meetings.
- Deep expertise in at least one ICP segment, capable of navigating complex sales cycles.
- Strong familiarity with key metrics, including volume, reply rates, booked rates, and rejection criteria.
- Hands-on coding experience; ability to script and use APIs, automation tools like n8n or Clay, and AI tools such as Claude Code. Proficiency in SQL or Python is advantageous but not mandatory.
Working Conditions and Benefits
- Fully remote position with asynchronous work culture.
- Workday slightly overlaps with US Eastern time; meetings are concentrated on Mondays and Thursdays to allow deep focus the remainder of the week.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is between CA$130,000 and CA$220,000 annually.
