Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced GoLang Developer to join our team in the City of London. This permanent role involves crafting backend services that serve millions of mobile users on iOS and Android platforms. You will collaborate closely with mobile engineers, architects, product managers, and DevOps professionals to deliver scalable and secure platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain backend services in Go supporting mobile applications on iOS and Android.
- Implement microservices and cloud-native solutions ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams for seamless integration with mobile ecosystems.
- Design secure APIs and authentication mechanisms including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and multi-factor authentication.
- Integrate push notification services such as Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Apple Push Notification Service (APNS).
- Utilize mobile analytics and telemetry frameworks to monitor and enhance system performance.
- Develop backend infrastructure tailored to mobile banking requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a Go developer focused on backend systems.
- Strong expertise in Go programming and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud-native development and deployment.
- Deep understanding of mobile app architectures and API gateway patterns.
- Hands-on experience implementing secure mobile authentication using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and MFA.
- Knowledge of push notification systems including FCM and APNS.
- Familiarity with mobile analytics and telemetry platforms.
- Experience building backend services for mobile banking applications.
