Role Overview
As a Golang Developer at CGI, you will play a key role in crafting innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation for prestigious clients. Working closely within your team, you will build cloud-native applications by leveraging solid knowledge in areas such as Clean Architecture, Event-Driven Design, and Test-Driven Development (TDD). You will address the challenges of distributed software architectures and convert Product Owner demands into maintainable software solutions while managing automated deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems using Go.
- Design and implement microservices architectures.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration.
- Improve existing codebases and guarantee top code quality through code reviews and unit testing.
- Participate actively in agile, cross-functional teams and regular sprint meetings.
- Support the setup and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Substantial experience in Go development with demonstrable proficiency.
- Proven expertise designing and implementing software architectures, including microservices and cloud-native solutions.
- Familiarity with modern software development tools and practices such as Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and development process automation.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Strong ability to work independently, collaborate effectively in teams, approach problems analytically, and demonstrate a willingness to learn continually.
- Fluent in German (minimum C1 level) and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
