Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and advise on cyber security risks covering business, operational, and technological domains.
• Develop and enhance cyber security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Analyse and recommend security controls aligned with recognised frameworks and best practices.
• Support and improve business continuity, incident response, and operational resilience measures.
• Offer trusted cyber security consultancy across sectors including government, defence, healthcare, utilities, banking, and finance.
• Leverage threat intelligence to shape security strategies and risk governance.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professional engagement.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance security outcomes and client resilience.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in developing cyber security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NCSC CAF, NIST, and Cyber Essentials (including Cyber Essentials Plus).
• Expertise in security governance, risk management, and assurance.
• Firm grasp of data protection and privacy regulations.
• Knowledge of security change management processes.
• Experience supporting business continuity, operational resilience, and incident response initiatives.
• Understanding of network infrastructure, core systems, and enterprise environments.
• Excellent planning, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Desirable Certifications

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
• ChCSP (Certified HealthCare Security Professional)
